Britt Hallqvist has wanted Wes Sadowski for four years, since her brother introduced his captain with a warning: not my sister. Wes said he wouldn't dream of it. Now he is sleeping under her bedroom floor for Christmas, and at midnight on Christmas Eve Britt walks down to her grandfather's sauna by the frozen lake and finds the stove lit. Wes is on the top bench in a towel that is too small. Grandpa's five rules hang on the wall. Rule one: no clothes. Rule five: what's said in the sauna stays in the sauna.
